At a high-level, Christian analyzed the outcomes of quantitative and data-driven approaches to venture capital investing. He found a statistically significant performance increase for funds that use data-driven approaches compared to funds that use only traditional approaches. His thesis also provides a clear, succinct literature review of the current venture ecosystem, which in and of itself makes for an interesting read.
